Like the majority of my works, this piece initially started off as a few spontaneous lines and shapes; I had no idea it would end up being this contorted rooster monster.
To me, this entity was either a creator coveting its creation, or maybe a maniacal monarch in possession of the world...
Hmmmm. Monarch.
Monarch is synonymous with dictator.
Hmmm. Dictator. Dick-tator.
Dick is synonymous with cock.
Cock is synonymous with rooster.
Thus, Cocktator was born; by way of triple entendre.
