"The Depressive Suppression of
Reciprocal Happiness"

Commentary

This picture is an illustration of the mental/emotional processes occurring when I create. Perhaps a self-portrait.

It seems like my most creative periods usually occur when I am slightly depressed. The images I create in this dejected state are always strange and amusing, having the tendency to cheer me up.

When you flip this piece upside down, the sad face becomes a smiley face.

This image has gone through a few modifications, mainly involving the color scheme, though no major compositional adjustments have occurred.
