Commentary Like my ice cream drawing, this one was also a semi-precognitive piece. A couple of years after creating this image, I started a job conducting phone surveys. There were times when I definitely felt like this character. I could never escape the headset or the incessant dialtones, etc. But to mix it up a bit, instead of using numbers in the keypad, I went with the signs of the zodiac. Thought it might make the piece more interesting. These signs are arranged by element type and by modes: cardinal, fixed, and mutable. Originally Drawn November 2001 Ryan Thies © 2004-2007
