Commentary I like sexy legs. I like fishnets. I also like well-proportioned fingertips...and well-groomed cuticles. This is me poking fun at sexuality. Again. Perhaps Sex Afeel is an unconscious homage to Robert Crumb; some people have told me this piece reminds them of his work in some way, and he is one of my art heroes. However I would like to mention that, although I sign my work R. Thies and produce work like this, I am not trying to emulate R. Crumb in doing so. I chose to sign my work in such a way because, when pronounced correctly, R. Thies sounds like ar-teest. Artiste. Get it? It's more of adeliberate pun than anything else.
