[Insert creepy echo sounds here] The tree is the seven, the hole in the tree is the eight, and the "three-eyed owl" sitting inside of the hole is the 666. The owl is guardian of this local vortex to the underworld. You were probably thinking that the mushroom men were the guardians of this gateway, but no they are not. They are in place mainly for cosmetic purposes, like the way a lawn gnome or a plastic flamingo might spice up a front yard. The vortex is located somewhere on Ranch Road 12, most commonly known as, "Devil's Backbone". I highly advise against trying to find it, because it's bad news. Seriously. Don't do it. You can join the fight against evil simply by helping me pick the dust mites out of my chest hair.
